Visitors help paint shelter and perform for PIO kids

A group of teachers and students from St. Peters Lutheran College, Brisbane, Australia visited the PIO children shelter in Steung Meanchey garbage dump area, Phnom Penh.

Many people were involved in helping to paint and renovate the shelter.  PIO students, 21 students and 4 teachers and an organiser took part in the three unforgettable days.

Students and teachers from St. Peters Lutheran College worked extremely hard to finish the painting and renovating of the Orphanage with a job nicely done.

In the last 2 hours of the last day, PIO’s orphans performed Khmer traditional dances for the students.  Then students from St. Peters Lutheran College sang Justin Bieber’s song “Baby” and performed a dance.  They encouraged the orphans to join in the dancing and everyone had a fun time.
