Tremendous Response!
Thank you for your interest in PIO. The response from the CNN article was so overwhelming that the website was briefly shut down. Our website went from an average less than 10 visitors a day to over 3000 on Friday alone. Our host has added additional bandwidth to our account to cope with the increased traffic. Thank you so much for the heartfelt comments left on the CNN website at cnn.com/heroes.

Phymean Noun, I have spent much time over the past 5 years in Cambodia and always found myself overwhelmed with the spirit, peacefulness and just wonderful friendliness of the Cambodia people. So it pained me very much to see on CNN the children climbing through trash dumbs for food and things they could find to sell. It just broke my heart to see these children with so little.
I am sending you $100 U.S. in hopes it will help in some way. As I am retired, but living/working in China till Sept, I would very much like to come to Phonm Penh and volunteer for however long possible. If you need any help, I would love to come help.
Thanks and God Bless……..

Thank you so much for your work. You’re serving those who would receive nothing otherwise.

I saw your story on CNN Heroes. God Bless You for helping the precious children. You are an Angel on Earth for each of them. I am donating money to your organization in hopes that it will free another child from the struggle of digging through trash in order to survive. God Bless.

Thanks for showing us how one person can make a huge difference. Would love to see more updates about how much funding you have received in recent weeks, and how this will impact your programs.
Best of luck,

We need more people in the world like you. This is truly a touching story. I have just donated to this organization and encourage others to do the same. Best wishes to you, your organization, and the children and women that you are building new lives for.
